Mythology

In Greek Mythology, The Underworld is the kingdom of the dead and ruled over by Hades. The underworld is surrounded by 5 rivers, The Acheron (river of woe), The Cocytus (river of lamentation), The Phlegethon (river of fire), The Styx (river of unbreakable oath by which the gods swear), and The Lethe (river of forgetfulness). According to the greeks, when you die you are lead to the gate of The Underworld by Hermes, were you must cross a river which is ferried by Charon. Only those who were buried with a coins are there lips may pay the fare to cross. Once you enter The Underworld you cannot leave.
